Food

As with everything else there is a worst, better and best option in terms of what we eat.

I’ll be blunt. The science is clear that the most ideal diet for the environment is vegan. I know not everyone will go there but everyone should consider the facts and choose accordingly.

There was a time when I said that I could never be vegan. Nearly every vegan starts off that way. But before talking about people, lets talk about some of the facts and science.

When thinking of the environment the are three main things to consider: the land, the air and the water.

Lets start with the land:

Everyone accepts that loss of the rainforest is a negative. I was taught that in school at a very young age.

“Unbelievably, over 200,000 acres of rainforest are burned every day. That is over 150 acres lost every minute of every day, and 78 million acres are lost every year!”

“Most of Central American's tropical and temperate rainforests have been lost to cattle operations to meet this world demand, and still the cattle operations continue to move southward into the heart of the South American Rainforests in the Amazon basin.”

Make it stand out.

  • UnSustainability.

The rain forest loss. The water use. The water pollution.

  • Health.

The amount of puss allowed in milk.. The health complications from dairy products are severe.

  • Ethics.

Is life sacred? Milk and meat isn't sustainable and is VERY detrimental to the environment globally. If you care about the environment, are you okay with the roll you okay in it's demise?
